Recording Tips Orient yourself or the camera so that your eyes are level with the camera, with the bottom of the video at about your mid-waist, and your head positioned in the top third of the video frame, ensuring it doesn’t extend beyond the frame. Ensure you’re in a brightly lit and private environment, free from extraneous noise. Close doors, silence devices, and eliminate distractions. If necessary, open window shades or turn on more lights for optimal visibility. Maintain eye contact with the camera throughout the recording to create a more engaging viewing experience for the audience. Constantly looking away or off-camera can make the video feel awkward and disengaging. Step 5 Click the Stop button at any point to end the recording.
